This album is composed of music inspired by, reflecting on a part of petroglyphs, runes - Cave art. An ancient tradition found in so many cultures, in so many areas of the world. And though their true meanings are obscured from us by the clouds of time, they reveal something of a continuity of human existence, the need to create, the power of creating images - A sign on the wall, a representation. - A dream ? A Spell ?

I want to thank the artists very much for their wonderful contributions - I think this album creates a wide variety of touchpoint on the theme, and hope you will allow these sounds to wash over you and give you pause to consider the meaning of petroglyphs, of primal images in your own life, your own circumstance -
