What can we say about Marco Lucchi - Well, let's start with what he says about himself -
"I'm a mellow artist, aging 60. I love and release eclectic music, from post-classical to drone. My fave instrument is the Mellotron."
I connected with Marco from soundcloud ( See link to his site below ) and was immediately impressed by the quality & sincerity of his work. There's a lot of stuff on soundcloud that is similarly ' Slick ' to his output, but there is in my view a lot of soul & passion in his work that is often lacking in other similar accomplished pieces .
So when the opportunity to collaborate was posted with him, I responded with enthusiasm & some trepidation ( I've not always been accepted by more accomplished musicians ) - To my delight he not only accepted my works, but also turned out to be as warm & pleasant as he presents -
So here we are down the road a bit, and it occurs to me that I would really enjoy sort of " Paying it forward " and collect a fine album of sounds for his hopeful enjoyment. We've assembled a great list of participants here, some known to him and others not but hopefully all of a sonic pleasure to return the delight he has provided to so many of us.
