This album was conceived, composed & arranged on Friday, April 10 2020. We are during the period of COVID Quarantine and there is a palatable feeling of malaise & angst in the air - Human interactions in meat space are weird & disconcerting - And yet... And Yet...

I'm just not able to be too upset. It's still spring. It's going to be a beautiful summer, and the birds are singing louder than ever.

Life has never needed us, life will find a way. It is up to us, I mean, this happening simultaneously changes everything and nothin' - We walked onto this set with our passports already filled out - There will be a departure at some point. When ? Who knows ? Why ? Shrug ...

Why Bother then ? Well, why bother with anything. I just recently found a image online ( I wonder if the internet is still there wherever you are seeing this ) of a mineralized fossil of human remains from the eruption of Pompeii - The guy was masturbating when he went out - Literally, died doing what he loved.

I'm not naive. These are grim times. But why get all bunched up about it - Why get so bogged down in details ? I want to live a life free of worrying about shit I can't change. How does the old sawhorse go ? A Coward dies so many deaths, A Brave man dies just once ? I mean, it's not like I'm parting while Rome burns ( Maybe a little ) but when the time comes, and they pull me out to the street & put a gun to the back of my head, I hope I can manage a slight bit of a smile. Because no matter how much I choose to worry about this, or not worry about this, the outcome will be the exact same
