tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE / Anthony Osborne - " Sawed Into Halves " (tENT order)

from Two Halves Volume Three by V/D: Various Duets

/

about

: 1. solo meant to have some sort of background provided by the other half of the duet, 2. solo meant to have nothing else happening, 3. playing meant to be equal to whatever else is happening, 4. background to imagined other person's solo, 5. bridge between sections, 6. dramatic build, 7. quiet section, 8. conventionally melodic section in A melodic minor (A, B, C, D, E, #F, #G, A (ascending), A, G, F, E, D, C, B, A (descending) - in other words if your pitch is going up you use the ascending part of the scale & if it's going down you use the descending part - obviously that only changes when you're at the 6th or the 7th). The idea would be for each of these sections to be roughly between :30 & 1:00.
