This is how it looks like. When you awake in your pod, far away from the planet you spent at least a hundred local years on... perhaps, the pod is located somewhere in the vicinity of Lyra? Anyway, you will most certainly feel sad. You experienced the world inhabited mostly by violent apes called humans... barbaric apes, filthy apes, who, nevertheless, came to the point of becoming enlightened, just like your own species. And you contributed somehow to the evolution of the apes, actually posing as one. Giving knowledge, helping out, but surviving first and foremost. Rediscovering skills which everyone else of your species has had from birth. How does it feel, forgetting all that and discovering everything from scratch? Hell of a ride, indeed. Who won't miss it? It's time for some R&R for now... taking it as easy as possible. And, perhaps, starting all over again, after a while. Or, nope... maybe, writing a book first. I betcha, this one will spread like wildfire in your home star cluster. Home...
