So there was this one kid we used to know, I don't actually remember their real name - We always just called them " Eater of Dust " - It was because their mouth always looked like they'd been sucking dirt or eating dust - I don't know how we all came up with that, but we did. It was probably around a fire in back of the school playground or something,

Anyhow, they were already a social pariah to be counted for sure. Everything else was pretty uneventful to be sure - The birds showed up in spring and left again in fall, there was this one same car that you saw around the neighborhood a lot, the teabottom cafe silver lions club played bridge every Thursday - People peeked out from behind curtains and judged, and judged hard

Trout were running in a nearby stream, their silver flashing off the dappled sun refracting through clear spring fed waters

And somewhere on the surface of other planets you'll see an imprint with your shoe size in reverse
